How it works

01

White-Label Delivery

All work delivered under your firm's brand — your clients never interact with TMA directly.

02

Controller-Reviewed Output

Every deliverable reviewed and signed off by a TMA controller before it goes to your client.

03

Your Platforms

We work in your clients' existing accounting platforms — QBO, Xero, NetSuite, or Sage.

04

Scalable Capacity

Add clients without adding headcount — TMA scales with your firm's growth.

05

Dedicated Point of Contact

A single TMA contact for your firm — consistent communication, clear accountability.

06

Flexible Scope

Bookkeeping only, or full-cycle including AR, AP, and reporting — scoped to each client's needs.

Why BKaaS

Your clients get more. You carry less.

Hiring in-house bookkeepers means payroll, training, turnover, and capacity ceilings. Outsourcing to a generic bookkeeping service means losing quality control. BKaaS gives you controller-reviewed output under your brand — with none of the overhead.

What we deliver

Everything your clients need. Nothing they don't.

Each BKaaS engagement is scoped to the client's actual needs — not a fixed package. Here's what's available under your brand.

01

Monthly Bookkeeping

Full-cycle bookkeeping through close — categorization, reconciliation, accruals, and adjusting entries.

02

Bank & Credit Card Reconciliation

Every account reconciled to the cent, every month — no open items left for your review.

03

Accounts Payable Processing

Vendor bills entered, coded, and tracked — aging reports included so your client always knows what's due.

04

Accounts Receivable Management

Invoices created and tracked, collections followed up, and AR aging kept clean.

05

Payroll Recording

Payroll journal entries posted and reconciled to the payroll provider — no manual cleanup for your team.

06

Financial Statement Package

P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement — formatted, reviewed, and ready for your client meeting.

07

Controller Sign-Off

A TMA controller reviews every deliverable before it leaves our hands — so you present with confidence.

08

Year-End Prep Package

Trial balance, workpapers, and supporting schedules prepared and handed off clean for your tax team.

Who it's for

Built for CPA firms at a growth inflection point.

BKaaS works best when your firm is growing faster than your capacity to hire — or when you want to focus your team on higher-value advisory work instead of routine bookkeeping.

Firms with 20–200 client files

You have enough volume to justify a dedicated back-office partner, but not enough to build a full internal team.

Tax-focused firms adding advisory

You want to expand into monthly accounting services without pulling your tax team off peak-season work.

Firms upgrading client quality

You're moving upmarket and need controller-reviewed output to match the expectations of larger, more sophisticated clients.

Firms protecting margin

You're tired of eating time on low-margin bookkeeping clients. BKaaS lets you keep the revenue while offloading the hours.

FAQ

Common questions about BKaaS.

No. All work is delivered under your firm's brand. TMA operates as your invisible back-office — your clients communicate only with you, and all deliverables carry your name.

We work in QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, and Sage. If your client uses a different platform, let us know during onboarding and we'll confirm compatibility before taking on the file.

You grant TMA accountant-level access to the client's accounting platform. We operate within the same permissions structure your own team would use — no admin access, no direct client communication.

There's no minimum. Some firms start with a single file to test the workflow before rolling out to their full client base. We're happy to start small and scale as your confidence grows.

Pricing is per client file, based on transaction volume and scope. You'll receive a fixed monthly rate per file — no surprises, no hourly billing. Rates are confirmed during the partner onboarding call.
